To celebrate the Year of the Ox and NYC’s Summer of Recovery, the 2021 Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York will return. The festival will feature invitational races. The colorful contestant boats will have a dragon head at the front and dragon tail at the rear. Crew members — paddlers, drummer, steering person – will power them through the water. Opening Reception | Bushman's Poetry, Starman's Prank: Going for It on Canvas

A definitive Hwi Hahm style does not exist — at least not yet. That is because his paintings are not invested in a continuum, they are all about the feel, the excitement, the going-for-it-ness of putting brush to canvas. These are paintings he simply has to paint, interested as he is first and foremost in an image’s mystique, the power and pull they have over him. When a picture shows up in his life and demands to be painted, when it tugs at his brain and at his dexterous brush-holding
