Another example of an event that you can attend all year round on weekdays is Federal Reserve Bank Tour, which takes place every week day at 1 pm (but advanced reservations are required). You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. If you are classical music afficionado, you can spend whole day in New York going from one free classical concert to another. If you love theater, then New York gives you an option to attend plays and musicals free of charge, or at deep discount. You just need to have information about it. An immersive exhibition celebrating nearly a century of FIFA World Cup history, featuring original objects and dedicated showcases from every tournament since 1930. The exhibition displays original historic objects from legends such as Pele, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Messi. Other highlights include the "48 TEAMS. ONE PRIZE" installation displaying jerseys from all 48 participating nations, the historic Jules Rimet Trophy, a cinematic installation called "THE FINAL," and the "Wall of Champions" honoring every World Cup-winning player. Opening Reception | Spiritual Technology: Solo Painting Exhibition Exploring the Structured vs Chaotic


An exhibition of works by Peter Acheson. The exhibition brings together small works on canvas, panel, bark, brick, and wood, made by Acheson over several decades. Acheson’s paintings range from textured abstractions to tempered gestures containing references to other artists and periods, among them 19th century French painters, Blinky Palermo, Raoul De Keyser, Bill Jensen, and Forrest Bess, alongside more direct observations from the landscape around his studio in Columbia County, New York. Acheson's concern is less with resolving these references than it is to allow them to coexist, permitting his paintings to act as habitats where various traditions and approaches can meet without hierarchy. This carries through to Acheson's playful way of treating his compositions, leaving them caught between styles, simultaneously structured and chaotic, with direct references and happenstance similarity.

Poetry Reading | USA 250 Poetry Celebration with Kenyon Review-Featured Writers


A tribute to poet Robert Hayden in honor of the 250th anniversary of American independence., featuring Iain Haley Pollock and Nathan McClain. Pollock is the author of three poetry collections, most recently All the Possible Bodies. Individual poems have appeared in a variety of publications, including American Poetry Review, The Kenyon Review, The New York Times Magazine, and The Progressive. Organizations ranging from the Cave Canem Foundation and the NAACP to the New York Foundation for the Arts and the Poetry Society of America have recognized Pollock's work with awards and grants. Nathan McClain is the author of two collections of poetry: Previously Owned, longlisted for the Massachusetts Book Award, and Scale. He is a recipient of fellowships from The Frost Place, the Sewanee Writers' Conference, and Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, and is a Cave Canem fellow. His poems and prose have appeared in The Hopkins Review, The Common, Guesthouse, Poetry Northwest, and Zocalo Public Square, among others. He teaches at Hampshire College and serves as poetry editor of the Massachusetts Review.

This event is for people to come together and share in the beautiful art of Origami--an ancient art of folding various mediums, most commonly paper. The word comes from the combination of the Japanese verb oru (to fold) and the noun kami (paper). Other materials often folded are fabric, wire mesh, sheet metal, tissue, thin plastic, cardboard, and straws.This group meets to teach each other new models and share paper, books, and tips. This meeting is free and open to all level of folders from beginner to advanced. There will be free paper available to share.
