You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. City Walk | Manhattan and Brooklyn Walk: Canstruction, Statues and Outdoor Monuments


Relaxed walking, slight inclines, about five to six hours. Winter Garden, City Hall Park, Brooklyn Bridge, Cadman Plaza, Grand Army Plaza and Prospect Park. Walkers may donate cans of food which will be used in the canstruction then donated to food kitchens at the end of the exhibit. Bring lunch, water, binoculars or a camera with optical zoom lens. Walk rain or shine. Call Friday evening until 9:00PM, if weather is a question.

Harrison Greenbaum is a NYC based stand-up comic and producer. He was the winner of the 2010 Andy Kaufman award and has been featured on AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live and has appeared on MTV, NBC's Last Comic Standing, Spike, The Discovery Channel and countless others. He was the warm-up comic for ABC’s Katie Couric show and a producer on their primetime show Would You Fall For That as well as VH1’s This Is HOT 97. Topics Include: The easiest way to learn stand up comedy (even if you're not a natural at being funny). The #1 thing you should know about writing hilarious jokes (hint: Forget joke formulas. Our guest speaker Harrison Greenbaum will break down everything you need to know about making people laugh). Marching Bands is the fifth book by photographer Jules Allen. Culled from field trips ranging over a period of almost 10 years, the 96 images in Marching Bands captures the unique rythym, precision and flair of African-American marching bands. Jules Allen’s work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions at major institutions worldwide and is in the permanent collection of museums including the Museum of Modern Art, Brooklyn Museum, Smithsonian, the Studio Museum of Harlem, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture and National Gallery of Art.
