Workshop | Saturday Yoga


Classes of Vinyasa Yoga – a series of flowing poses linked to awareness of the breath – with instructor Jennifer Batson. Classes are designed for all experience levels. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat or a towel. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, class size is limited to 36 students who must remain six feet apart while practicing. Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Masks are required for entry to the park but can be removed during the class session as participants are spaced at least six feet apart. Classical Music | Met Orchestra and Chorus: Mahler's Symphony No. 2, 'Resurrection'


Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2, known as the Resurrection Symphony, is considered one of the greatest symphonies of all time. It was written between 1888 and 1894, and first performed in 1895. This stirring composition was one of Mahler's most popular and successful works during his lifetime. It was his first major work that established his lifelong view of the beauty of afterlife and resurrection. Music Director Yannick Nezet-Seguin conducts the extraordinary Met Orchestra and Chorus, with soloists soprano Ying Fang and mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves. First-come, first-seated starting one hour before the concert. All guests (aged 12+) are required to provide proof of full vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test, taken within 72 hours of the event. All guests (aged 2+) must wear a face covering. The concert will be canceled in the event of rain.
