Play | Moliere's Don Juan: Provocative Tragicomedy with Live Music (in the Park)
Don Juan has abandoned Elvira, whom he seduced into breaking her vows and marrying him. Over the course of a single adventure-filled day, he and his loyal sidekick, Sganarelle, encounter many of the people Don Juan has betrayed. As he seduces women, defies social conventions, mocks religion, and revels in provocation, his appetite for transgression seems impossible to satisfy. Yet the signs are unmistakable: the walls are closing in. Will he truly repent? Or will he just pretend to, like so many around him, and continue down the same path to the bitter end? Playwright: Moliere Translator/Adaptor: Stephen Wadsworth Director: Lucie Tiberghien Cast: Keshav Moodliar, Kaliswa Brewster, Naomi Lorrain, Daniel Pearce, Michelle Veintimilla This presentation will feature live original cello music by Drama Desk-nominated composer Johnathan Moore.

Come on down and swing along to the best ragtime, stride, and jazz the Big Apple has to offer. "Peter Yarin's piano work is a rhythmic marvel...Yarin's solos are concert hall virtuosic." - Jersey Jazz Peter Yarin is a New York-based pianist and composer working across genres in jazz and classical music. He is the pianist for Vince Giordano and The Nighthawks, an 11-piece repertory Jazz Orchestra, leads a jazz trio of his own, and has written several works for musical theater. Peter's work has been featured on many soundtracks, including movies Killers of the Flower Moon and Joker, as well as television series such as The Queen's Gambit, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Boardwalk Empire. He has accompanied popular artists St. Vincent, Rufus Wainright, Elvis Costello, and Bette Midler, and many more.

Workshop | Relaxing & Educational Fishing on the Hudson (Equipment Provided, All Ages)
At this Hudson River catch-and-release event, make a fish wish--you might just get a bite! Over 200 species of fish are found in the Hudson Rive. Anglers ages 5 and up are invited to participate at this program, with parental supervision required. The organizer team provides all the necessary equipment and an on-site fishing tutorial. Participation is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Beginners and experts alike are encouraged to join for a relaxing and educational experience at the water's edge.

Classical Music | An Evening of Cross-Generational Khayal Vocal Traditions (+ Pre-Concert Talk) (In Person AND Online!)
The Saami brothers, guided by Naseeruddin Saami, the last living master of the 49-note microtonal vocal scale (shrutis), belong to a musical past that can be traced back to 13th century Delhi, filled with echoes of melodies emanating from the Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya’s shrine. Together, they blended Persian melodic modes, Arabic maqaam, Turkish musical elements, and South Asian traditions to create khayal, and its devotional offshoot, qawwali. The concert will be preceded by a 5pm conversation with Ustad Rauf Saami, and Nermeen Arastu (Professor of Law, student of Ustad Rauf, and Co-Lead, Strategy and Residencies for The Saami Family) where they will unpack the history of Khayal, the importance of oral transmission, what the future holds for living traditions that resist full inscription, and how scholarship and practice might sustain one another in that effort. Opening Reception | Clockwork: Multimedia Solo Exhibition Interrogating Systems of Power
An exhibition featuring new and recent work by Sable Elyse Smith. The gallery reframes Clockwork by expanding its more cinematic elements into an immersive stage-set environment, where video becomes an immediate means of visualizing unseen, ordinary violence. Including sculpture, video, neon, and photography, Clockwork interrogates the fundamental systems of power that define contemporary society, as well as their cultural and psychological impacts. Through formal strategies such as seriality and repetition, disorientation, and appropriation, Smith illustrates how systems of power not only overlap, but how they intertwine and mutually reinforce one another.
