Another example of an event that you can attend all year round on weekdays is Federal Reserve Bank Tour, which takes place every week day at 1 pm (but advanced reservations are required). You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. Friday evening drumming circles! Improvise on African, Latin and Caribbean rhythms at SUNSET JAM ON THE HUDSON drumming circles. The enigmatic songwriter Mike Scott, “madman or genius, depending on your point of view,” (Record Collector Magazine) has explored many sounds and styles through THE WATERBOYS, his principle vehicle since 1983, but Celtic folk rock of burning intensity remains at the center. The band’s latest project is An Appointment with Mr. Yeats, music set to the words of Ireland’s greatest lyric poet. Theater | Shakespeare Outdoors: Cymbeline, Presented by The Drilling Company


Cymbeline has a complex, not a simple narrative, and is sometimes classified as a problem play because it is part history, part tragedy and part comedy. The marriage of Imogen and Posthumus is tested in the context of a rebellion of the Britons against the Roman Empire. Shows are offered while the lot is in use. The action sometimes happens around a parked car which drives away during a performance. At such times, the players stop and the audience moves its chairs, pausing the performance the same way a show would stop for rain uptown in Central Park. It's all part of the fun.
