Influenced by singing legends of the 50s and 60s including Miriam Makeba, Dolly Rathebe, and Busi Mhlongo, the 2013 Juno Award winner has electrified audiences worldwide with her dynamic stage presence and showmanship, accomplishing her childhood dream of taking “township music” to the rest of the globe and creating a truly African sound.
