Another example of an event that you can attend all year round on weekdays is Federal Reserve Bank Tour, which takes place every week day at 1 pm (but advanced reservations are required). You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. If you are classical music afficionado, you can spend whole day in New York going from one free classical concert to another. If you love theater, then New York gives you an option to attend plays and musicals free of charge, or at deep discount. You just need to have information about it. City Walk | All-in-One Downtown Tour


This tour utilizes your feet and the New York City Subway* to transport you from Lower Manhattan, the birthplace of New York, through Wall St and the Financial District, Greenwich Village, SoHo, Chinatown and Midtown Manhattan. Concert | Pueri et Puellae Cantores Plocenses, Award-Winning Polish Choir


Pueri et Puellae Cantores Plocenses is a choir from the city of Płock, winner of four gold and two silver medals at this year’s international choral festival, Slovakia Cantat, in Bratislava. Pueri et Puellae Cantores Plocenses was established in 1998 by Anna and Wiktor Bramski and transitioned from a relatively unknown local cathedral boys choir into a mixed group that tours internationally. The choir currently consists of 170 boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 24.

Concert | The 5th Annual Hudson Square Music & Wine Festival: Eilen Jewell / The End of America


Singer-songwriter Eilen Jewell has released seven albums, the most recent being Queen of the Minor Key.. The End of America is a band making music where the road takes them. This New York City-based trio took cues for their name and songs from the writings of Jack Kerouac. The concept of traveling to the ends of the "groaning continent" seems almost like a dare, whereby those who choose to accept it will follow the road till they find themselves where all artists long to be: the farthest you can go.

Initiated in 2012, The Set Up is a multi-year project devised by choreographer Wally Cardona, made in unique cooperation with choreographer Jennifer Lacey and an international assembly of dance-artists viewed as “masters” of their form, operating in their own culturally informed aesthetic. Each Set Up begins with an invitation to one master artist to teach what they think is most important about the form to which they have devoted their lives. It continues with a response period, a final stage of reflection, and the making of “a dance.” The entire process happens in the layers of superficiality and depth inherent in the assumption of the universality of dance.
