You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. Join staff, peers and volunteers who can help you with your braille study plan and assignments and recommend strategies for taking your braille proficiency to the next level. Braille games and activities will help you put your skills into practice. This study group welcomes blind and sighted learners alike. Braille is a tactile writing system used by people who are visually impaired. It is traditionally written with embossed paper. Braille users can read computer screens and other electronic supports using refreshable braille displays. They can write braille with the original slate and stylus or type it on a braille writer, such as a portable braille notetaker or computer that prints with a braille embosser.

Civil disobedience is a time-honored, effective method for bringing, fierce, defiant, nonviolent pressure to bear on unjust systems. Protests create an audience, shape political dialogue, and move people to action. Rise and Resist uses civil disobedience along with other forms of nonviolent direct action and voting to make our voices and values heard. New York Opera Forum performs the complete opera of Rinaldo by Gioachino Rossini. A live musical recital performed in concert with piano accompaniment. Gioachino Antonio Rossini (1792 - 1868) was an Italian composer who gained fame for his 39 operas, although he also wrote many songs, some chamber music and piano pieces, and some sacred music. He set new standards for both comic and serious opera before retiring from large-scale composition while still in his thirties, at the height of his popularity.

The plot of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Ang Lee’s martial arts extravaganza set in in 18th century Qing Dynasty China, swirls around the theft of a mythical blade called Green Destiny. The film is among the most visually exhilarating adventure-dramas ever made.
