City Walk | Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo Tour


This is a 3-hour tour that begins with a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge, an icon of New York City for over 125 years, with spectacular views of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The tour then moves on to a stroll of Brooklyn Heights, America’s and New York City’s first suburb. The tour then explores the neighborhood DUMBO before ending at the Fulton Ferry landing. This tour takes place every day at 10am.

Fair | Good Deeds Day - Featuring Entourage Actor Adrian Grenier


Good Deeds Day is the largest and most far-reaching day of good deeds worldwide with more than four million volunteering hours globally. New York City will host the North American 10th anniversary event for this international day of doing good. This is an invitation for all New Yorkers to participate in the simple idea that every person can do a good deed and have a positive impact in their own community and around the world. All-day entertainment, performances, speakers, and hands-on doing good activities, this cause-agnostic event will offer New Yorkers a wide range of ways to do good on Sunday, April 10th 2016. Herald Square will be host to over 20 notable non-profits, and corporate partners Scholastic, Macy’s and KIND Snacks participating in Good Deed activities including Adrian Grenier’s Mobile Kitchen Classroom Food Citizen Action Commitment and Photo Booth.

Tour | Flatiron District Walking Tour


Join professional guides on a 90-minute journey through this vibrant neighborhood, viewing some of the city’s most notable landmarks, including the New York Life Insurance Building, the MetLife Clock Tower, the Appellate Courthouse and the famous Flatiron Building. This tour repeats every Sunday.

Concert | Faculty Recital: David Taylor, Bass Trombone


Receiving B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Julliard School of Music, David Taylor started his playing career as a member of Leopold Stowkowski's American Symphony Orchestra, and by appearing with the New York Philharmonic under Pierre Boulez Almost simultaneously, he was a member of the Thad Jones Mel Lewis jazz band, and recorded with Duke Ellington (The New Orleans Suite), The Rolling Stones, and Blood, Sweat, and Tears. Mr. Taylor has recorded four solo albums (Koch, New World, and DMP) and has presented numerous recitals throughout the world (including Carnegie Recital Hall, Kaufman Auditorium at the Y at 92nd Street, and Merkin Hall).
