Another example of an event that you can attend all year round on weekdays is Federal Reserve Bank Tour, which takes place every week day at 1 pm (but advanced reservations are required). You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. If you are classical music afficionado, you can spend whole day in New York going from one free classical concert to another. City Walk | Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo Tour


This is a 3-hour tour that begins with a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge, an icon of New York City for over 125 years, with spectacular views of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The tour then moves on to a stroll of Brooklyn Heights, America’s and New York City’s first suburb. The tour then explores the neighborhood DUMBO before ending at the Fulton Ferry landing. Master Class | Stefan Schilli: Oboe Master Class


Stefan Schilli studied at the conservatories in Trossingen and Karlsuhe, before becoming solo oboist with the Bavarien Radio Symphony orchestra in 1991- at the young age of 20. He won the Prague Spring International Mucis Competition as well as the ARD International Mucis Competition in 1996 , after having already triumphed at the German Music Competition in 1993. Stefan Schilli ranks among the leading oboists of his generations and the meanwhile performs on all great concert stages all over the world.

In great demand as a master of Baroque vocal style, Ragin is also an inspired interpreter of contemporary music. His performances of such diverse repertoire are characterized by an unusual warmth and expressivity, and he has received unanimous accolades from critics and audiences throughout the world. His was the voice of Farinelli in the film about the famed 18th century castrato which won the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Film in 1995. He has recently completed a collection of very short stories, some of which can be found on the blog Very Short Stories R Us. He has taught at Columbia, Wesleyan, Bard, and the Pratt Institute. Wendy Walters is the author of three collection of poetry, Troy,Michigan, Longer I Wait, More You Love Me, and Binds of Los Angeles. Her essay collection Multiply/Divide was released last year by Sarabande Book. Her work has appeared in Harpers, The Seattle Review, The Iowa Review, and Bookforum. She teaches at the New School.
