Known for his emotional depth, rhythmic nuance, and harmonic sophistication, Emmanuel has performed at prestigious venues such as the Village Vanguard, Dizzy’s Club, and The Jazz Gallery. A member of ensembles led by Ambrose Akinmusire, Dayna Stephens, and Aaron Parks, he is also the 2024 Jazz Gallery Residency Commission recipient.He has toured internationally, recorded widely, and collaborated with artists including Billy Drummond, Harish Raghavan, and Immanuel Wilkins. Rashaan Carter is a New York–based bassist known for his deep musicality, versatility, and innovative approach to jazz and improvised music. Over the course of his career, he has become a sought-after collaborator, performing and recording with legends such as Wallace Roney, Geri Allen, Ravi Coltrane, Cindy Blackman, Henry Threadgill, and David Murray. His work spans jazz, experimental, and genre-blending projects, showcasing a sound that is both grounded and forward-thinking.
