You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. If you are classical music afficionado, you can spend whole day in New York going from one free classical concert to another. If you love theater, then New York gives you an option to attend plays and musicals free of charge, or at deep discount. You just need to have information about it. Workshop | Qigong Yoga for Beginners


Instructor Siewli Stark leads a 1-hour session of beginner yoga. Please bring your own yoga mat for this class. This session will explore Qigong. Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, breath awareness, and focused intention to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit. In this class, participants will slow down and tune into the natural rhythm of our bodies, learning simple standing or seated exercises to support vitality, reduce stress, and improve emotional balance. Qigong is accessible to all ages and fitness levels, and no experience is necessary. Siewli Stark is a bodyworker who specializes in using embodied practices to help others feel more connected to their bodies, health, and well-being. She believes that movement and feeling good in our bodies is a birthright and that everyone should have the opportunity to explore and enhance their relationship with their bodies through movement, breath, touch, and stillness. **All participants must bring the release form at the link filled out and signed to the class.**

Moranis appeared in the sketch comedy series Second City Television (SCTV) in the 1980s and starred afterward in several Hollywood films, including Streets of Fire (1984), Ghostbusters (1984) and its sequel Ghostbusters II (1989), Little Shop of Horrors (1986), Spaceballs (1987), Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989, and its 1992 and 1997 sequels), My Blue Heaven (1990), and The Flintstones (1994). In 1997, Moranis began a long break from acting. But, he's provided voice-over work for a few animated films.

Jazz | Charlie Parker Jazz Festival: Night 2 with GRAMMY Winners & Broadway Musicians


The Charlie Parker Jazz Festival celebrates the spirit of the late great saxophonist with shows uptown and downtown that highlight the past, present, and future of jazz music in New York City. The second night features: the legendary Branford Marsalis Quartet, headed by GRAMMY Award winner and NEA Jazz Master Branford Marsalis on saxophone, who has earned his reputation as a cornerstone of the jazz genre many times over, joined in the group by drummer Justin Faulkner, pianist Joey Calderazzo, and bassist Eric Revis, each icons in their own right; GRAMMY-winning trumpet player and multi-instrumentalist Nicholas Payton, who has released dozens of LPs as a bandleader, along with an eclectic collection of collaborations with the likes of Common (Electric Circus), Trey Anastasio, Ray Charles, and many more; the Bertha Hope Trio, led by the titular jazz pianist and educator who first played clubs in the ‘50s but took off after collaborating with her husband Elmo Hope; and Georgia Heers, an ascendant jazz singer and Juilliard graduate who recently made her Broadway debut in “Good Night, and Good Luck.”
