The show draws from Hearst's highly successful series of books, albums, and his celebrated PBS series. You’ll be sure to love his unusually geeky A/V presentation (like a TED talk for kids!) of some of the most bizarre animals that roam the planet, odd and daring characters, and vehicles you never knew existed—using such odd-ball instruments as the theremin, claviola, and stylophone. There are two ways to access this event: 1. General Admission, first-come first-served. Just show up! 2. Fast Track opening the Monday before the event at noon.

Gallery Talk | Learn about Artist Lotty Rosenfeld's Work with Curators

Curators Natalia Brizuela and Julia Bryan-Wilson offer new insights about artist Lotty Rosenfeld drawn from their extensive archival research for the development of the exhibition Lotty Rosenfeld: Disobedient Spaces. Their conversation will highlight key works on view and consider Rosenfeld's enduring artistic influence in Chile and beyond. Lotty Rosenfeld: Disobedient Spaces is the first solo retrospective of Rosenfeld's practice in the U.S. and illuminates her many contributions to critical dialogues about public space, from large-scale video projections to her iconic street intervention One Mile of Crosses on the Pavement (1979), in which she crossed the white directional lines of roads.

Play | The Seven Ravens: Family-Friendly Fairytale Adaptation (In Person AND Online!)

When a young girl makes a shocking discovery about the history of her family, she embarks on a challenging quest to reunite with loved ones she's never met. A playful, imaginative, and visually arresting work, The Seven Ravens celebrates the resilience, imagination, resourcefulness, and tenacity of children living through displacement, separation, and dreams of reunion in the face of great odds, shedding light on one of today's most pressing sociopolitical issues through the lenses of allegory, fantasy, and play.
