Museums | Tiffany Glass and Other Exhibitions

The collection of Tiffany's leaded glass includes an extraordinary array of floral and geometric lamps as well as landscape and figural windows. A unique feature of the collection is a vast, one-of-a-kind archive of original flat glass and pressed-glass "jewels" used by Tiffany Studios, which provides valuable insight into the development of the stained-glass movement in America at the turn of the twentieth century. Established in 1972, this art museum's permanent collection consists of around 10,000 items, over 6,000 of which are documents and objects related to the 1939 and 1964 World's Fairs, some of which are on long-term display. Proof of vaccination, ID, masks are required.

Concert | Music of the Americas: Paraguay (online)

Jeporeká is a musical project created by Paraguayan guitarist Berta Rojas. The initiative, launched last year, aims to promote musical creation in her native country, offering young artists the possibility to collaborate in the creation of new compositions. Due to the pandemic, the first two iterations of the project have taken place online, with the final compositions recorded professionally in Paraguay. In 2021, Jeporeká focused on the creation of songs, with students from throughout Paraguay organized in ten teams that included a composer, a singer, and a poet. Over the course of six weeks in the austral winter, they attended online seminars with leading Latin American artists and worked on their new songs. The final pieces were recorded in Asunción in September.

Play | In the Southern Breeze: An Autobiographical Fever Dream (in-person and online)

Deep in an existential crisis, Man locks himself in his apartment. A portal reveals itself and when he crosses that threshold, Man begins a journey that traverses centuries of history, allowing him to create a space for his own healing, while exploring the complicated and more camouflaged barriers of today. Mansa Ra offers a unique approach to poetically elaborate on the social, racial, and generational struggles and injustices that black men face while also creating a space for discourse about and healing from these experiences. This play includes graphic content that might be distressing to audience members. It discusses suicide and suicidal ideation. Some people might find it disturbing.
