This open level Gentle Flow class, led by teacher Jess Cambronero, will begin with the postures and dialogue that introduce the physical theme of the class and set an intention for the practice. Students will move through a slower-paced vinyasa flow with postures integrated into the sequence. Classes will be sequenced in a way that leads the practitioner to stretch and strengthen the body gradually. Modifications to ease or advance a posture will be offered to students throughout the class, as well as thoughtful suggestions for alignment, technique, and self-inquiry. The closing asanas will focus on calming the body and mind, incorporating breathing techniques, body scans, and guided meditation. This is the inspiring untold story of Annie Sullivan, the Irish-American immigrant and eventual teacher of blind-deaf Helen Keller. A cast of 18 brings to life young Annie’s journey of courage and perseverance. Sadly, early in her life, she endures the loss of her mother, Alice and younger brother, Jimmie to tuberculosis. Her father, Thomas becomes overwhelmed and gives the children away first to family members, then to the Massachusetts State Asylum. Annie suffers from trachoma and is functionally blind and unable to read even the simplest of texts. Book by Samantha Talmage. Music and lyrics by Robert Winthrop Talmage. Jazz | Swingin' and Stompin': Swingadelic and Swing Dancers from The Rhythm Stompers


Swingadelic, known as New York City’s greatest “little big band,” delivers the traditional Big Band and Great American Songbook music of Frank Sinatra, Count Basie, Ray Charles, Dean Martin, and many more popular artists of the era in swingin’ style.
