Another example of an event that you can attend all year round on weekdays is Federal Reserve Bank Tour, which takes place every week day at 1 pm (but advanced reservations are required). You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. Jazz | Piano in the Park: NPR-Featured Musician


Come on down and swing along to the best ragtime, stride, and jazz the Big Apple has to offer. Jazz pianist Jon Weber has recorded and toured all over the world, winning numerous accolades for performance and composition, and scoring extensively for television since 1987. He's at once an exceptional musician as well as a gifted historian and storyteller, and, above all, a true piano polymath. Film | Kinds of Kindness (2024): Black Comedy-Drama Anthology Film with Emma Stone from Yorgos Lanthimos


Three stories revolve around a man who tries to take control of his own life, a policeman whose wife seems like a different person, and a woman who searches for someone with a special ability. Director: Yorgos Lanthimos Cast: Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn Yorgos Lanthimos is an acclaimed Greek filmmaker, having received multiple accolades, including a BAFTA Award, and a Golden Lion, plus nominations for five Academy Awards and a Golden Globe Award. Lanthimos started his career in experimental theatre before directing film. He rose to prominence directing the psychological drama film Dogtooth (2009), which won the Un Certain Regard prize at the Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Lanthimos transitioned to making English-language films with the black comedy The Lobster (2015), which earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, and the psychological thriller The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017). He received nominations for the Academy Award for Best Director and Best Picture for The Favourite and Poor Things, in addition to winning the Golden Lion for the latter. Emma Stone is an American actress and film producer. Over her career so far, she's earned such accolades as two Academy Awards, two British Academy Film Awards, and two Golden Globes. In 2017, she was the world's highest-paid actress and named by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world. Stone received nominations for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing a recovering drug addict in Birdman (2014) and Abigail Masham in The Favourite (2018). She won two Academy Awards for Best Actress for her roles as an aspiring actress in the romantic musical La La Land (2016) and a resurrected suicide victim in Lanthimos' comic fantasy Poor Things (2023). On television, she starred in the dark comedy miniseries Maniac (2018) and The Curse (2023).

When you take one of the greatest jazz vocalists of this generation and put her on stage with one of the world's premiere big bands, you get a night you'll never forget! During this special night, Catherine Russell will perform historic Louis Armstrong big band arrangements, newly restored by Jonokuchi, in partnership with the Louis Armstrong House Museum. You'll hear songs performed live for the first time since the 1940s! Arrive early for a warm-up DJ session and lesson from a dance instructor and you'll be ready to swing out on the dance floor. Trumpeter and bandleader Danny Jonokuchi's 17-piece band is one of the most popular dance ensembles on the jazz scene, conjuring up the height of Savoy Ballroom swing. GRAMMY winner and three-time nominee jazz vocalist Catherine Russell is a native New Yorker born into musical royalty.
