Workshop | Learn How To Dance in a Professional Musical
Using a fictitious regional theatre production of Mean Girls, Tisch Drama alum and dancer/choreographer Josh Zacher will lead participants through a simulation of an ensemble dance call so you can experience what it’s like to audition for a professional show. Zacher will teach two dance combinations in the styles of the show and participants will “audition” each combination in small groups. All dance levels are welcome! Both combinations will be taught with mover friendly and strong dancer variations and you will be encouraged to work at the level that feels safe and productive for you. The workshop will end with a Q&A and feedback, including the opportunity to have your performance resume reviewed.
