Another superb performance. Riverside Symphony was at the top of it's game last night. Kapustin's Concerto for violin, piano and orchestra, Christopher Oldfather's piano was a revelation!
Kenneth Goldstein

Great violist. Superb conductor.
Mitchel Lerman

Wonderful orchestra, fine conductor, beautiful, eclectic program. Can’t say enough good things!

This was wonderful. I especially liked the guitar group playing Brazilian music.
G. W., Fair Lawn NJ

After a two year absence Riverside Symphony returned with an exquisite concert of Latin America music at the Museum El Barrio in a charming concert hall ,it was a sublime experience .
Kenneth Goldstein

Riverside symphony was superb
Robert Zadra

Delightful concert. Every composition was interesting and enjoyable, but the 20-25 guitar orchestra was truly a highlight. There was one interesting composition during the first half that was suited more to modern rather than classical tastes. I enjoyed it, but it might not suit everyone.
P. R., NYC

Wonderful
C. V., NYC, NY-USA

Wonderful concert. Creative program sharing interesting music of musicians not usually heard.
The conductor is superb and his orchestra plays beautifully.
The soloist, Korean violinist was superb.

Very good orchestra. They played the score of PSYCHO, it was thrilling to hear it live.
Timothy Barry

William Stern, NYC

Always a joy to listen to Riverside Symphony- top class !

Merkin Concert Hall is not only intimate, it has great acoustics and is the perfect setting to see a small string orchestra (with a big sound) like The Riverside Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra played three pieces I've never heard live before, something I love in an evening of music: to be surprised. The orchestra has a rich, beautiful sound and played the four pieces, one, the violin rondo by Franz Schubert, to perfection, working hard to give the fullest, liveliest sound to each line of music. Thank you, Riverside Symphony!
Bryan Clampitt, New York, NY

Delightful
susan charney

Nice concert of 20th century composers. Weill three penny great!!!!
Robert Stevenson, New York ny

Fantastic performance this is the second time seeing and listening to a beautiful music !!
Gloria Hortua

The first half of the show was soothing & masterful. The 2nd half was jolting and dissonant. It took me out of my state of bliss as if someone banged a metal pot held next to my ear.
peter f., Brooklyn ny

The orchestra played 3 pieces. The second piece was modern, similar to Stravinsky.-type. The third piece involved the brass instruments- which I found very enjoyable. It also had a guitar, a banjo and an accordion.
