Classical Music | Grammy Award-Winning String Quartet

The Grammy Award-winning Attacca Quartet has been described as "close to epitomizing the string quartet ideal: four strikingly individual players with the ability to speak eloquently in one voice" by The Washington Post, and as "one of the most versatile and outstanding ensembles of the moment--a quartet for modern times" by The Nation. In this performance, the quartet responds to a public art installation in the park by Cristina Iglesias--her first temporary project in the United States--which situates five bronze sculptural pools within the park to conjure the memory of an ancient stream that once flowed through the site.
