It is a part of his compositional cycle called Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin. As a composer of classical piano sonatas, Muzio Clementi was among the first to create keyboard works expressly for the capabilities of the piano. He has been called "Father of the Piano". He composed almost 110 piano sonatas. Some of the earlier and easier ones were later classified as sonatinas. Six moments musicaux, D. 780 (Op. 94) is a collection of six short pieces for solo piano composed by Franz Schubert. They are among the most frequently played of all Schubert's piano music, and have been recorded many times. The Marriage of Figaro, K. 492, is an opera buffa (comic opera) in four acts composed in 1786 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with an Italian libretto written by Lorenzo Da Ponte. It premiered at the Burgtheater in Vienna on 1 May 1786. L'elisir d'amore (The Elixir of Love) is a comic opera in two acts by the Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti. The opera premiered on 12 May 1832 at the Teatro della Canobbiana in Milan.
