Rodrigo Toscano’s newest book of poetry is Deck of Deeds. His previous collection, Collapsible Poetics Theater, was a 2007 National Poetry Series Selection. Forthcoming from Fence Books in 2016 is Explosion Rocks Springfield. He was the recipient of a New York State Fellowship in Poetry. His poetry has appeared in numerous anthologies, including Against Expression, Diasporic Avant Gardes, Poetic Voices Without Borders, Angels of the Americlypse, and Best American Poetry. His poetry has been translated into French, Dutch, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Norwegian. Toscano works for the Labor Institute in conjunction with the United Steelworkers, National Institute for Environmental Health Science, and National Day Laborers Network. He lives in the Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Jennifer Tamayo is a Colombian-born transnational artist and activist based in New York City. JT is the author of Red Missed Aches Read Missed Aches Red Mistakes Read Mistakes (Switchback, 2011), POEMS ARE THE ONLY REAL BODIES (Bloof Books, 2013) and YOU DA ONE (Coconut 2014). Since 2010, JT has served as the Managing Editor for Futurepoem an independent NYC press publishing contemporary poetry and prose.
