Workshop | Ribbon Dance Class (in-person)


Combine cardio with artistry as you wave long ribbons in the air to create rainbows, waterfalls, dragons and ocean waves. Ribbon Dancing is as visually stunning as it is fun and easy to learn! All ages and skill levels are welcome. A face covering is required. Attendance is capped to allow for safe distancing. Ribbons will be available to borrow, and will be sanitized between classes, but participants can also bring their own ribbons, or wear gloves.

Bootcamp-style high intensity interval training. This socially-distanced class will incinerate calories and build strength. Come give your all at this all-level cardio, strength, and plyometric-based workout. Every Thursday, Sept 10-October 22. Bring your own mat. Must sign a waiver. Must wear a face covering at all times.

Opening Reception | Graffiti and Street Art: Wry, Pithy, Poignant (in-person)


Veteran graffiti/street artist Al Diaz, known for Bomb-1, SAMO(C)...WET PAINT, presents his exhibition "PREPARE 4 TURBULENCE, AL DIAZ - UPDATED." A new collection of wry, pithy, and sometimes poignant commentaries on life during this stormy period we are experiencing. Al Diaz is best know for his collaboration with Jean-Michel Basquiat on SAMO(C), graffiti that appeared in lower Manhattan from 1977 to 1979. He currently works with WET PAINT signs used throughout the New York City subway system. All visitors must wear face coverings.
