Another example of an event that you can attend all year round on weekdays is Federal Reserve Bank Tour, which takes place every week day at 1 pm (but advanced reservations are required). You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. Workshop | Ribbon Dance Class (in-person)


Combine cardio with artistry as you wave long ribbons in the air to create rainbows, waterfalls, dragons and ocean waves. Ribbon Dancing is as visually stunning as it is fun and easy to learn! All ages and skill levels are welcome. A face covering is required. Attendance is capped to allow for safe distancing. Ribbons will be available to borrow, and will be sanitized between classes, but participants can also bring their own ribbons, or wear gloves.

Park Walk | The High Line Park is Now Open!


The High Line Park welcomes its guests again with a free timed-entry reservation system to allow for social distancing. It is open from noon till 8 pm daily. The High Line is a 1.45-mile-long elevated linear park, greenway and rail trail created on a former New York Central Railroad spur. The abandoned spur has been redesigned as a "living system" drawing from multiple disciplines which include landscape architecture, urban design, and ecology. Since opening in 2009, the High Line has become an icon of contemporary landscape architecture. Jazz | Piano in the Park: Jazz (in-person)

Concert | Six-time Tony Award Winner Audra McDonald: Songs and Conversation


From her stage and concert performances to her television and film roles, six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald is recognized for both her artistry and her activism, lending her voice to champion a variety of causes and organizations. She is joined by music director Andy Einhorn for a varied selection of songs, as well as a conversation with humorist, and actor Mo Rocca about the role of artistic expression in times of social change.

He will perform using traditional Tibetan instruments, and discuss the crucial work of preserving and archiving the endangered music of Tibet.
