Tour | Greenwich Village Neighborhood Tour

Greenwich Village is among Manhattan's most desirable and expensive residential neighborhoods. It's history, however, betrays it's monied status. From the Beats to the Folk Movement, from workers rights to gay rights, the Village has often been the center of it all. Tours are Mondays and Fridays at 2pm, and Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10am.

Workshop | Intro Class: Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Learning to be mindful—to pay attention in the moment without resistance or judgment-—can shift the course of our lives. Instead of being driven by our fears and hopes, we learn how to listen to ourselves and others, to pause and respond wisely. In this course you will practice MBSR’s tools for living: the body scan, sitting meditation, mindful yoga and walking meditation, all of which increase self-awareness and empathy, connect us to our intuition, weaken unwholesome mental habits and replace struggle and stress with ease and relaxation. You will experiment with mindfulness while eating, communicating, and engaging in everyday activities. Come discover how living in the moment, with awareness and curiosity, can open your life and fill it with peace and wonder. With: Amy Gross
