You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. Opening Reception | Arboreal Anxieties: Wearable Sculptures by Mary Ivy Martin


During the exhibition, the gallery will become a studio as artist Mary Ivy Martin deconstructs discarded Christmas trees and transforms them into wearable sculptures. Once completed, Martin will take to the streets while wearing her sculptures where she will ritualistically return to the sites where the discarded trees were found — Martin and the trees embody each other, and the tree is re-animated with a new form of life.
