LassatilAbballari invite the audience to dance, move and rediscover their natural impulses, emotions and energies through ancient cultural forms and patterns.
Carried away by the vibrant rhythms of traditional dances, which belong to the past but keep on living in the present, people get back to an organic perception of time and space. Leaving the nagging worries of daily life behind, one can dive into the sounds and rhythms of the tambourine, the guitar, the accordion, the flute, but also of more unusual instruments such as the Zampogna, the Scottish bagpipe or the Galician Gaita.
The show “Dancing Europe” perfectly combines recreation and instruction. We introduce every single piece providing some interesting information about its origin, its instruments and the corresponding choreography.
