Tour | Roosevelt House Public Tour


Roosevelt House - the former double townhouse of Franklin, Eleanor and Sara Delano Roosevelt, and now owned by Hunter College - offers visitors a chance to get closer to a family as unique as the city they inhabited, and to explore the private spaces where some of the most iconic public policy of the 20th century was shaped. Hear about FDR's rise to the presidency after his struggle with polio, Eleanor's activism for civil rights and human rights, and Sara's support for interracial and interfaith initiatives. Concert | Concert: Time and Luck Quartet / Kristin Diable


As founders of the band Lindsay Lou and the Flatbellys, Joshua and Lindsay have toured throughout the US and as far as Germany and the UK playing music together with their friends and bandmates, but their bond and musical makings extend beyond that of the band. They released their first duo record in 2014, borrowing the name, Time and Luck. When they get off the road, they often get right back to it either as the duo or as a collaborative project like the Time and Luck Quartet. Kristin Diable has been exploring freedom and choice in her music ever since she picked up an open mic at a lounge in Baton Rouge and stunned the audience into silence. She rode that vibe, away to New York and then back to her native Louisiana like a storm front, one that shook New Orleans and cooled the air. And her newest album, Create Your Own Mythology, invokes her Louisiana and Americana roots, while firing a rock-and-roll shot across the bow of borrowed myths.
