All characters have real prototypes; in some you will recognize former and current leaders of the country, in others - incredible Belarusians who have gone out to battle the totalitarian machine, sometimes at the cost of their lives, their freedom, and their loved ones. Museums | Disrupted Timeline of 150 Years of Fashion History (in-person)

The Costume Institute's exhibition About Time: Fashion and Duration (on view Oct 29 - Feb 7) will trace 150 years of fashion, from 1870 to the present, along a disrupted timeline. Employing philosopher Henri Bergson's concept of la duree--the continuity of time--the exhibition will explore how clothes generate temporal associations that conflate the past, present, and future. The concept will also be examined through the writings of Virginia Woolf, who will serve as the exhibition's "ghost narrator."

When they start sharing moment-to-moment intimacies, Mary proposes that they collaborate on a play about their lives. Mary Ellen agrees but thinks it should be a musical. In the process of creating their legacy project, their bond begins to grow stronger. Fact, fiction, fantasy, and frustration all blend together in a bittersweet tale of two actors trying to find meaning at this stage of their lives. What results are touching and totally unpredictable. Coni Koepfinger, playwright Byron C. Saunders, director
