Noted by The New York Times for playing the organ with flair, French-born organist Daniel Brondel made his Weill Recital Hall (Carnegie Hall) debut in 2010 as narrator in a performance of Erik Satie's Sports et divertissements. He has also recorded and appeared regularly as countertenor soloist with Grammy-Award-winner Paul Halley, and has sung with the Gentlemen of the Choir of St. Thomas Church Fifth Avenue.

The repertoire of azz vocalist and and lyricist Dorian Devins includes vocal and jazz and vocal standards, original songs, bossa nova/Latin, blues, and original lyrics set to instrumental jazz tunes. Her extensive song list also includes many rarely heard standard songs. With a smooth, cool, and assured vocal delivery most often compared to Chet Baker or June Christy, Devins' style has been described as "sly wit, understated, with a devilish glee delivered in a smoky timbre." She is respected by instrumentalists for her "distinct style that is all her own" as well as the quality of her sound.

This event celebrates Armenian music in a program of village songs, as well as other traditional and composed pieces by historic and contemporary Armenian composers. The performance will feature Zulal, a vocal trio and Perspectives Ensemble. Perspectives Ensemble has performed in Stern Auditorium of Carnegie Hall, the 92nd Street Y, Lincoln Center, Columbia and New York Universities, the Rubin Museum, Ethical Culture Society, the Morgan Library, among others. Zulal has performed at the Getty Museum, Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, New York's Symphony Space and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, among others.
