Opening Reception | Art Exploring Aging, Time, and Cultural Relevance

This group exhibition explores how aging, visibility, and relevance are shaped within a culture that often values youth. Titled Expired, the show plays on the word’s dual meanings—both “past one’s prime” and a clinical term for death—prompting reflection on time, transformation, and mortality.   Works by Carol Saft, Kenneth Zoran Curwood, and Roxanne Wolanczyk address these themes through painting, multimedia sculpture, and ceramic text-based forms. Saft’s intimate portraits delve into self-care and the pressures faced by aging bodies; Curwood’s works comment on obsolescence and technological change; and Wolanczyk’s vessels symbolize endurance, fragility, and ongoing relevance over time.

Concert | Soulful Indie Pop Singer-Songwriter

Stephanie June is a soulful indie pop singer-songwriter whose voice and vulnerability resonate deeply. Born in New York City to Persian immigrant parents, she's always treated music as a universal language that can hold heartbreak, humor, and the messy beauty of radical acceptance. With a sound that's both refined and raw (think Adele's power with Amy Winehouse's bite) her lyrics feel like intimate confessions you can't look away from.
