Talk | Jeff Seymour's Real Life Actor Road Show

The LA-based Jeff Seymour entertainingly challenges five decades of method-dominated thinking about acting and acting training. In his eye-opening and entertaining lecture-demonstration, using random volunteers from the audience, Seymour illustrates how to set aside decades of method-dominated acting theory in favor of a deceptively simple pragmatism based on real life. Authentic realism looks and feels different to an actor in 2015 than in 1960. Is this the man who will change how acting is taught? Even if you don't drink the Kool Aid, this Gemini winner and four-time nominee (Canada’s Emmy) will make you thirsty!
