Two legendary street artists—both important figures of the graffiti movement of the 1970s and 1980s—will paint original murals in a live demonstration on the Museum’s Front Terrace. The event, celebrating the launch of the Museum’s new publication City as Canvas: New York Graffiti from the Martin Wong Collection (Skira Rizzoli, 2013), provides a special opportunity to observe these accomplished practitioners as they work through their creative process.
