Cannon, author of Groove, Bang, and Jive Around, is a poet, playwright, novelist, and founder of the organization Gathering of the Tribes. Moderator Tracie Morris has worked as a sound artist, writer, and multimedia performer. She is the author of two poetry collections, Intermission and Chap-T-her Woman.
