Another example of an event that you can attend all year round on weekdays is Federal Reserve Bank Tour, which takes place every week day at 1 pm (but advanced reservations are required). You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. Workshop | Community Park 5K Run with New York Road Runners


New york Road Runners host a 5K community-led run,open to runners and walkers of all ages, abilities, and experience levels. Evidence of Inwood Hill Park’s formation exists as caves, valleys, and ridges left as the result of shifting glaciers. Evidence of its uninhabited state afterward remains as its forest and salt marsh (the last natural one in Manhattan), and evidence of its use by Native Americans continues to be discovered. Most of the park was largely untouched by wars and development. The park features a hiking trail and the Hudson River Bike Trail, and is one of the best places in NYC to spot a bald eagle. It also includes athletic fields, playgrounds, dog runs, and a barbecue area. The course is three loops on hilly trails and walkways through woods and along a salt marsh.

The Year of the Horse is here! Celebrate the Lunar New Year in style with the Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company for an interactive dance experience featuring dazzling costumes and eye-catching props, plus crafts and fun for the whole family! The 2026 Year of the Horse program from Nai-Ni Chen is a lively, interactive dance experience that invites young audiences to discover the richness and diversity of Chinese culture through movement, music, and storytelling as the artists guide students on a journey across regions and traditions--explaining how geography, history, and community celebrations shape classical and folk dance forms. The performance is narrated by the dancers, who demonstrate foundational techniques and cultural context in an age-appropriate, engaging way. Audience don't just watch--they participate. Selected volunteers are invited on stage to learn simple movements, including the flowing artistry of silk ribbon dance, and to experience how gesture and rhythm communicate meaning. For the Year of the Horse (2026), the program will also introduce a new lion dance segment celebrating the excitement of festival traditions, along with a dynamic Mongolian dance inspired by horsemanship and grassland culture--highlighting the spirit of strength, freedom, and resilience associated with the horse.

Tale of a shipboard romance between a diplomat and a Russian stowaway. Director: Charlie Chaplin Cast: Marlon Brando, Sophia Loren, Sydney Chaplin, Tippi Hedren, Patrick Cargill Charlie Chaplin was an English comic actor, filmmaker, and composer who rose to fame in the era of silent film. He became a worldwide icon through his screen persona, the Tramp, and is considered one of the film industry's most important figures. His career spanned more than 75 years, from his childhood in the Victorian era until a year before his death in 1977. His films are characterised by slapstick combined with pathos, typified in the Tramp's struggles against adversity. Many contain social and political themes, as well as autobiographical elements. He received an Honorary Academy Award for "the incalculable effect he has had in making motion pictures the art form of this century" in 1972, as part of a renewed appreciation for his work.

Concert | Tribute to Legendary Italian Singer, Songwriter, and Actress Ornella Vanoni


Italian icon Ornella Vanoni is celebrated through the voices of Mafalda and K Starck, two artists profoundly shaped by her legacy. Italian-born, Brazilian-raised, and New York-groomed vocalist Mafalda Minnozzi returns to her roots in a deeply personal tribute to the singer who has "lived in her DNA" from Mafalda's musical beginnings. Drawing on years spent performing Vanoni's repertoire in Rome's legendary club La Cabala, Mafalda brings a rich blend of Italian elegance and Brazilian soul--echoing Vanoni's beloved collaborations with Toquinho and Vinicius de Moraes. Joining Mafalda is K Starck, a Paris-born, Venice-raised, classically trained vocalist whose multilingual artistry has been deeply inspired by Vanoni's authenticity, emotional clarity, and soulful delivery. Concert | Indie-Folk Group River Whyless, which Appeared on NPR and at The Newport Folk Festival


Halli Anderson, Daniel Shearin, Ryan O'Keefe, and Alex McWalters are River Whyless, a band from Asheville, North Carolina whose music sits between folk, indie, and something harder to define. The group's recent NPR Tiny Desk and their showcase appearances at The Newport Folk Festival and Bonnaroo have earned them an avid audience drawn to their reputation for thoughtful songwriting, surprising arrangements, and lush harmonies. The band's most recent album, Monoflora, is a conversation between River Whyless's four distinct voices, charting a winding collective pathway between tradition and experimentation, between the familiar and the unexpected.
