Catch-and-release fishing gives anyone and everyone the chance to fish. It’s an appropriate and fun activity for those as young as five. All of the necessary supplies including rods, reels and bait, as well as complete instructions, are provided. Fishing poles are provided on a first come, first served basis, with a half-hour limit when others are waiting.

Concert | Toshi Reagon, R&B Singer/Songwriter


The daughter of Bernice Johnson Reagon, co-founder of the legendary à capella group Sweet Honey in the Rock, Toshi Reagon is a singer/songwriter who has earned much praise. Reagon and her band BIGLovely have opened for Lenny Kravitz, backed Elvis Costello, and shared the stage with Nona Hendryx, Pete Seeger, and Ani DiFranco. Her fusion of styles transcends traditional definitions as she blends gospel, funk, and R&B elements together, while her spitfire attitude and thought-provoking messages bring a special energy and vivacity to her live shows.

The Latin Grammy-winning Puerto Rican pop star Obie Bermúdez (pictured), who The Houston Chronicle calls “a talent on par with Juanes or Alejandro Sanz,” headlines this triple bill, joined by Yerba Buena singer Cucu Diamantes, whose music is a unique mix of “salsa, funk, cumbia, hip-hop, pop-punk, mariachi, tango, disco and flamenco…just for starters” (The New York Times). Opening the show will be the activist hip-hop outfit Rebel Diaz, whose frontwoman is the mesmerizing rhymer Lah Tere.
