City Walk | Great Manhattan Bridge Walk


Start at GW Bridge, end at Brooklyn Bridge. Walk for about 12 hours and cross over all of the bridges they can walk over from Manhattan Island. The entire route will be 27+ miles of walking, plus two or three bus/subway rides. Bring plenty of water, sandwiches, snacks, and Metro Card. Moderately paced. Heavy rain or blizzard cancels.

Festival | Winter Jam NYC: Snowshoeing, Snowboarding, Cross-Country Skiing, and More


The biggest snow festival in the city! Winter Jam NYC brings winter fun with a Lake Placid snowfield for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Olympic Regional Development Authority will be blowing snow for a week leading up to the event to create a winter wonderland! Check out the world premiere of Shaun White’s Olympic training documentary Red Bull Project X and see what it takes to be a pro! Learn to ski with Head Skis, or snowboard with the Chill Foundation. Check out acrobatic performances from the high-flying Skyriders. Warm up with free samples from the Pride of New York Winter Market featuring refreshments provided by local producers. Visit your favorite winter sports vendors and enjoy plenty of fun activities for all ages, including the New York Rangers Road Tour, featuring the Inflatable Slap Shot Booth and Bounce House. All winter sports equipment will be provided, including snow shoes and cross-country skis.

Park Walk | “Cross Park Promenade”


You'll be amazed at what you'll see.... a hidden bench that tells time, miniature boats powered by the wind, a magnificent sculpture celebrating fresh water, and a glorious drinking fountain for the city's equine population. These are just some of the the sites along the way on this east to west walk through the park. Tour is approximately one hour long.

Concert | Unsound Electronic Music Festival


Since 2003, Poland's most adventurous music festival has brought a bold and uniquely modern program of music to Kraków. Now, Unsound is coming west to New York for their first ever North American edition. The driving force in the assembling of the New York program has been Unsound Festival's commitment to forms of music and sound art that involve experimentation and risk. Unsound Festival has made a worldwide reputation by breaking new ground while dealing with vibrant electronic, experimental, independent, post-classical and club music scenes from around the world.
