Greenwich Village is among Manhattan's most desirable and expensive residential neighborhoods. It's history, however, betrays it's monied status. The Village, with it's quiet, shaded streets, lined with lovely brick and brownstone townhouses, was once the incubating ground of artistic, social and political movements that have helped shape US history. From the Beats to the Folk Movement, from workers rights to gay rights, the Village has often been the center of it all.

Concert | Southern Rock Sounds: Drivin' N' Cryin / Aaron Lee Tasjan

Formed in 1985, Drivin' N' Cryin is an acclaimed American rock/alt-country/folk band from Atlanta, GA. Original founding members Kevn Kinney and Tim Nielsen have released multiple critically-acclaimed recordings over the band's 29-year professional career including the gold-certified album 'Fly Me Courageous'. Aaron Lee Tasjan seemingly works endlessly to bring his music to whomever will listen out on the road, he is also singing these songs because he has to. There is pain within the reedy Midwestern drawl of his voice but also the ability to laugh at life’s misfortunes and ultimately transcend them by putting into words and music all of his thoughts and experiences along the way.
