Workshop | Deep Yoga and Journaling


Sharyn Hahn lead you through some warm-up poses and a vinyasa flow as well as several short meditations, creative visualization, and intention-setting writing or sketching activities. You will leave feeling more flexible, relaxed, energized, with a mantra that you can carry with you throughout the week. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one, and they do have some if you need to borrow one for the class. Also bring a journal and something to write with. You will be writing a few times during the class, and if you prefer to sketch or want to do both, that is fine. Wear comfortable clothing, and feel free to bring a warm or cool drink to keep you hydrated (with a secure lid). All levels are welcome. If you have never done yoga you will be able to participate as well.

3 miles, comfortable pace, about 3 hours. The Piccirilli brothers were master stone carvers who immigrated to New York City from Italy in the late 1800s. They carved sculptures in NYC that we all recognize and many others that we might overlook. On our walk, we’ll learn the stories of some Piccirilli carvings plus stories of the places and the people associated with the pieces.
