Artists on the roster include Shawn Pelton (drummer, Saturday Night Live), Mike Clark (drummer, Herbie Hancock), and Duncan Patton (Timpanist, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra) as well as a full Scottish Pipe Band, lead by Michael Eagle. The weekend will culminate with a Steel Drum Showcase Concert.

Reading | Frühschoppen Literary Brunch


The six German-language authors of Festival Neue Literatur: Larissa Boehning, Monica Cantieni, Catalin Dorian Florescu, Inka Parei, Linda Stift and Erwin Uhrmann, give a sampling from their work, providing a taste of new writing from Austria, Germany and Switzerland. A conversation and discussion with playwright, dramaturg and university Professor András Visky and actor and artistic director of Theater Y Melissa Hawkins. New York Classical Theatre returns to the World Financial Center with Playing Molière. Using their signature performance style, Panoramic Theatre, this unique production of Moliere’s shorter comedies hearkens back to the 17th century playwright’s roots in the Commedia dell’Arte.
