On October 20, 1953, Senator Joseph McCarthy arrived at the Army Signal Corp labs at Ft. Monmouth, NJ, looking to uncover and destroy a Communist spy ring. Storyteller Robin Bady is not afraid of the bogeyman; she knows who haunts her. It is Senator McCarthy, instigator of the anti-Communist witch hunts of the 1950s. To name her fears and claim her truth, Robin reveals the deeply personal story of what happened when her father, who worked at the Ft. Monmouth labs, was accused of being a traitor and Communist spy.
