Theater | Spidermann, a “Hastily Constructed Abstract Musical”

Seattle's Jose Bold proudly presents a hastily constructed abstract musical that will open and close the two nights before Julie Taymor and Bono/The Edge open their notoriously infamous production. With a mission of being Broadway's opposite, Spidermann was devised, written, and thrown together in less than a month, at 0.0000092% the budget. Instead of straightforward parody, it creates a brand new mythology of the well-worn superhero story while still referencing elements of the original comic book and the Broadway debacle. Featuring the characters Spidermann, Peter Parkre, Mary Jane Taymor, Radioactive Steve Winwood, and more.
