You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. The first in a series of workshops funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council UK as part of the Research Networking Grants project Interdisciplinary Italy 1900-2015: Art, Music, Text. The interdisciplinary network is lead by Dr. Clodagh Brook (University of Birmigham, principal investigator) and by Dr. Giuliana Pieri (RHUL, co-investigator). The aim of the workshop, which will concentrate on different aspects of Italian Modernism, is to open up discussion by bringing together specialists in different disciplines which share an interest in Italian culture, music and the arts in the period 1900-1940ca.

Other | AARP-Tax Aide: Free Tax Return Preparation Service


AARP volunteers, who are certified by the IRS, prepare all returns. There is no cost to you for preparation and no cost to you for electronic filing (e-file). Certain returns with voluminous data or less common types of income, credits or deductions are beyond the scope of the AARP program. Some materials you should bring with you are: Last year’s Federal and State income tax return. Social Security Cards for you, your spouse & dependents. Tax information statements summarizing your 2012 income: Forms W-2, Forms 1099 for: Social Security payments, interest, retirement benefits, and annual tax statements from brokers, etc. Details including any support for deductions and credits: medical, childcare, education, etc.; which must be totaled and summarized. Any other materials that you believe may be pertinent to your 2012Federal or State taxes. Remember: First come, first served. The best way to have your return completed in a single session is to arrive early and to bring all of your materials with you. To avoid clients having to wait and then not have their returns started and completed, they may stop taking new arrivals well before 2:30 PM if the volume of clients already waiting is such that the new arrivals cannot be served that day.

The relatively new field of inequality studies is gaining increasing momentum as economic disparity grows throughout the world, in advanced countries as well as less developed onesespecially in the United States. Speakers James K. Galbraith, Professor of Government at the Lydon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, University of Texas, and Branko Milanovic, Lead economist in the World Bank's research department, will address the progressive emergence of this new discipline: from its roots in classical economics, with its focus on the inequality of social classes (the functional distribution of income), to its shift, beginning in the early part of the twentieth, toward considering inequality among individuals.
