Keshav das, a musician for more than 35 years, has in his travels played with gypsies and babas in temples and mosques across India. He has sung with sadhus on the banks of the Ganges in the holy city of Benares, with the babas of Gir Nar volcano, the street musicians of Calcutta and the legendary boatmen poets in the little fishing villages along the Ganges in upper West Bengal. His introduction to kirtan was 10 years of traveling, performing and recording with Krishnadas. He has performed and recorded with Baul Legend Babu Kishan Baul and shared the stage with Steve Gorn, Alice Coltrane, Jai Uttal, Jeff Buckley, Rakesh Prasanna, Narendra Budakar, Ayub Khan, Gulam Mohammed Khan, Shyam Das, Bhagavan Das, Dave Stringer - and the Dervishes of Masjid Al Farah.
