Enid Farber will present her new photographic-musical slideshow, which covers over 30 years of photographs of the great musicians and vocal artists of the 20th and 21st century. Included in this presentation are such jazz icons as Miles
Davis, Chick Corea, Wynton Marsalis, Ray Charles, Cassandra Wilson, Sonny Rollins, and others. The slideshow will also include images of many of the musical legends of Rock and Roll, Reggae, Pop, Soul and Avant-garde experimental pop, such as Bob Marley, Charlie Watts, Macy Gray, Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Diana Ross, etc.
Farber will share how she found her passion for photography while living in Atlanta in the late 70’s to mid 80’s and her pursuit of a career in the profession when she relocated to New York City in 1985. Her talk includes the challenges
posed by working in a male-centric pack of photographers, the stark reality of earning a living, plus how she got her work published.
