Moderate walking, a few stairs, about five or six hours. Look at all of the statues in Battery Park, especially the John Ericsson statue. This statue was moved a few years ago. John is looking at Bridge Street instead of the park and the harbor. The Shorewalkers Art Committee will decide whether or not we should suggest that the New York City Art and Antiquities Department turn the statue to face into the park and the harbor. Visit the Alexander Hamilton Custom House and the beautiful Native American Indian art inside. .
Bring lunch and water. Rain or shine. Call Friday evening until 9:00 PM, if weather is a question.
