You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. City Walk | The Great Manhattan Bridge Walk


Start at GW Bridge, end at Brooklyn Bridge. Walk for about 12 hours and cross over 17 bridges over from Manhattan Island. The entire route is about 30 miles of walking, plus 1-2 bus/subway rides. Bring water, sandwiches, snacks, and Metro Card. Moderately paced; there may be a “fast group” for those that can walk faster and father. Heavy rain at start cancels.

Park Walk | The Bridges and Waterways of New York's Central Park


This is a moderately paced adventure under, over, around and through many of the amazing architectural wonders throughout Central Park. Begin at the southwest tip of Central Park South and zigzag up the eastern half of Central Park to The Harlem Meer at 110th St. Then circle back along the western half of the park and finish at Sheep's Meadow. Please bring water and lunch or snack for this fascinating 5-hour journey of approx. 8 miles. Rain or shine.

The program features the work of Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, a highly regarded classical composer and one of the first of African ancestry as well as works of Joseph Haydn and François-Joseph Gossec, both of whom worked directly with Bologne during his lifetime. St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble will be joined by The Classical Theatre of Harlem to bring life to Bologne's biography, which ranges from his prodigious fencing career, role as a general for the Republic during the French Revolution to his remarkable virtuosity as a violinist, composer and conductor.
