City Walk | Roosevelt Island Walk


Walk around circumference. Moderate pace, flat. This will be a historic/photographic walking tour with great views of Manhattan/Brooklyn/Queens from the East River. There are many historic buildings and locations on the Island itself. There will be stops for picture taking. For those who wish a more athletic event with a fast pace you can leave and rejoin the group at any time. Entire event will be approximately 3-5 hours depending on the pace, but breakouts can be made at any time. Bring light lunch, water, cameras, hat, sun block and a great attitude.

Now in its 82nd year, the Outdoor Art Exhibit will hold its annual spring show. The show features exciting new and veteran exhibitors in all categories of fine arts and fine crafts, both traditional and contemporary. Oils and watercolors, pastels and acrylics, graphics, photography and sculpture make up the fine arts group. The crafts include such specialties as jewelry, ceramics, wood, fiber and. mixed media. Each exhibit consists of an individual artist or artisan showing their own original work.
