This bilingual, multimedia version of celebrated children’s author Vasiliki Nevrokopli’s 'Fairytale of the Music' tells the story of a young princess who is visually impaired and seeks her true love through the sound of a variety of authentic Byzantine-style instruments and techniques. What began as a local, grass roots effort trying to energize the community in the wake of hurricane Sandy has blossomed into a full-scale event intertwining 17 local stores, restaurants and venues.
