Performance | Sample Performances from The Kitchen


The Kitchen will take part, for the first time, in the annual presentation of Independent – a hybrid art collective, consortium and temporary exhibition forum. This fourth edition, dedicated to New York non-profit arts institutions hit hardest by Hurricane Sandy, will feature The Kitchen and fellow Chelsea-based organization Printed Matter on the fourth floor. Each day will include 10-minute live performances programmed by The Kitchen’s curators, to offer audiences a look at the music, dance, theater, art and literature seen at The Kitchen year round.
